Volunteer and Visitor Policy

  • All visitors must sign in at the office before entering any room. This is a safety precaution for the entire campus.  A visitor’s nametag is given to each person who signs in.   
  • Uninterrupted quality classroom instruction is a top priority.
  • Classroom Visitations
    • 01 (d) “The parents and guardians of pupils enrolled in public schools have the right and should have the opportunity... to participate in the education of their children, as follows: Within a reasonable period of time following making the request, to observe the classroom or classrooms in which the child is enrolled or for the purpose of selecting the school in which their child will be enrolled in accordance with policies and programs.”
    • For classroom visitations, has defined a reasonable amount of time to be 48 school hours.

  • HOW TO BECOME A VOLUNTEER

    Parents if you are interested in volunteering in your students’ classroom, or you would like to attend fieldtrips please visit the website: http://beamentor.org/stockton.  Once you are approved, you will be referred to the Police Department for a background check, ID badge, and possible fingerprinting (depending on the volunteer position).
